Arden Stern is a Teaching Fellow in the department of Humanities & Sciences at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where she teaches history and research methods in courses centered on design for social impact. She received her PhD in Visual Studies from the University of California, Irvine in 2012. Her research interests include the history of American graphic design and printing, American modernism, street graphics and globalization in Sub-Saharan Africa, and typography in film title sequences.
